Nationally Recognized Physicians
The physicians at National Jewish Health are nationally recognized leaders in treating respiratory, allergic and immune diseases such as asthma, COPD, tuberculosis and lupus. They are continually involved in pioneering more effective treatments and setting new standards of care. And a recent edition of America's Top Doctors: The Nation's Leading Medical Specialists includes 20 percent of our physicians.
Improved Outcomes
This comprehensive, multi-disciplinary approach results in highly effective treatment. Patients leave National Jewish Health healthier and better able to work with their physician to manage their disease. Our outcomes measurements have shown marked improvement in the decrease in emergency room visits and hospitalizations, days missed from school or work, and urgent care doctor visits following treatment at National Jewish Health.
Focused Environment
Patients who travel to National Jewish Health often have failed traditional treatment approaches. While at National Jewish Health, patients are temporarily removed from their environment and daily routine so they are able to focus full attention on their disease. A team of National Jewish Health physicians, nurses, dieticians, psychosocial clinicians and rehabilitation therapists will work together to develop a patient treatment plan specific to each patient. The evaluation summary, recommendations and treatment plan are provided to the patient and referring physician.
Electronic Medical Records (EMR)
To further support its dedication to remain at the forefront of healthcare technology, National Jewish Health implemented an EMR system. We are committed to improving patient care, and this new system helps facilitate communication among healthcare providers and ensure accuracy of patient data. Learn more about EMR.
