Office of Professional Education

The Office of Professional Education at National Jewish Health strives to create innovative educational activities that assist physicians and healthcare providers in developing and enhancing their clinical knowledge, competency, and skills. We excel at producing high quality continuing medical education in the areas and diseases that National Jewish Health researches and treats.

National Jewish Health has been accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) since its inception in 1984; in December 2011 we received Accreditation with Commendation from the ACCME. This is the highest level of accreditation through the ACCME, and is awarded to providers that demonstrate compliance in all 22 Criteria and the Accreditation Policies. We were commended not only for meeting the ACCME's Accreditation requirements, but also for demonstrating that National Jewish Health is a learning organization and a change agent for the physicians we serve.
