Neuropsychology Fellowship

The neuropsychology faculty in the Division of Psychosocial Medicine at National Jewish Health offer a full-time, two-year neuropsychology postdoctoral fellowship. The fellowship is exclusively adult-focused and primarily involves clinical and didactic activities. Patient populations include a number of neurological and medical conditions, such as various dementias, movement disorders, epilepsy, stroke, Multiple Sclerosis, traumatic brain injury, anoxia/hypoxia, and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), among others. Patients are seen on an outpatient basis only through the Adult Neuropsychology Service and are referred from several specialty clinics from within the Neurology Department at the University of Colorado Denver School of Medicine, clinics at National Jewish Health and a variety of other medical offices throughout the Denver area.

Training Goals

The National Jewish Health Neuropsychology Fellowship adheres to the Houston Conference Guidelines on Specialty Education and Training in Clinical Neuropsychology, which have since been adopted by the American Board of Clinical Neuropsychology. Our faculty will strongly emphasize the importance of these guidelines to all Fellows who enter the program, with the end-goal of seeking board certification in neuropsychology through ABPP.
