In today’s healthcare environment, physicians are expected to manage more patients and achieve satisfactory outcomes with fewer resources than ever before. That’s why we introduced the Physician Line.

What is the Physician Line?

Developed exclusively for physicians and healthcare professionals, this toll-free line is your direct access to a specialized respiratory nurse who can facilitate your request for a patient referral or physician-to-physician consultation. Nurses can also provide you with information about National Jewish Health programs, program outcomes and other departments.

When you call the Physician Line one of our specialized respiratory nurses will collect relevant patient information to ensure that your patient is appropriately scheduled. A nurse representative will communicate this information when your patient has been scheduled.

How to Consult With a National Jewish Health Physician

If you would like to consult with a National Jewish Health physician or nurse on respiratory, allergic and immunologic diseases, especially difficult clinical problems, you may contact us in one of the following ways:

• Call the Physician Line at 1-800-NJC-9555 (1-800-652-9555) Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm Mountain time. Physician Line nurses collect relevant patient information and directs the information to the appropriate National Jewish Health physician, who will contact you to discuss the case.
• Complete the online consultation form (except for Mycobacterial/Infectious Diseases-see below) and submit electronically or fax it to (303) 270-2162. Your office will be contacted to process your request.
• Mycobacterial /Infectious Diseases
  Physicians may request a fax consultation or refer a patient by completing an online form, calling the Mycobacterial/Infectious Diseases Consult Line at 1-800-423-8891 ext. 1279 or by e-mailing them at [email protected].
