Jim Kuhn joined Newmark Knight Frank (formerly Newmark & Co.) as
a Principal and President in 1992, founding Newmark Knight Frank’s
Capital Group, a division providing management and advisory services
for corporate and institutional clients.
Mr. Kuhn was a lender with Metropolitan Life Insurance Company and
was an owner/manager with The Mendik Company before starting his own
firm in 1990.
He holds a master of arts degree in real estate and a bachelor of
arts degree in finance from Syracuse University. He also studied
finance and business at The Wharton School and Harvard University.
His current and former Board and Trustee memberships include New
York University Real Estate Institute, The Urban Land Institute, The
International Committee of the Real Estate Board of New York, the New
York/Connecticut Chapter of the National Association of Industrial and
Offices Parks and the Young Men’s/Women’s Real Estate Association of
New York.
Mr. Kuhn is married to Marjorie Kuhn.
