Hospitals Complete Joint Operating Agreement

National Jewish Health, Saint Joseph Hospital and SCL Health Announce Agreement to Collaborate on Clinical Operations

National Jewish Health, known worldwide for its treatment of patients with respiratory, cardiac, immune and related disorders; Saint Joseph Hospital, Denver’s largest private teaching hospital, and its nonprofit parent, SCL Health, today announced that they have signed an operating agreement to create and jointly own a new entity that will expand and enhance high-quality, affordable health care for patients and families. Clinical Trial Results Signal an Advance for Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis

Dr. Kevin BrownAfter a string of failed clinical trials in idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis, the results from studies of two experimental medications signal progress in the treatment of this deadly disease, according to researchers at National Jewish Health and around the nation. The trial results were presented May 18 at the 2014 American Thoracic Society annual conference and simultaneously published online in the New England Journal of Medicine. Read more.
