Mission Statement:
National Jewish Nursing contributes to a care experience for patients and families that is positive, life-changing, and healing by collaborating with other health professionals to provide outstanding patient-focused nursing care, health education and disease management. We seek to ensure this level of excellence through literature-based practice; embracing research and innovation; and by preparing the next generation of nursing professionals while striving to continuously educate ourselves.

- Continuing medical education training program.
Staff Education
Staff Education provides in-service and continuing education opportunities for National Jewish Health employees, starting with the orientation phase and continuing throughout employment. The emphasis is on providing hands-on education, as well as auditing of employee skills to ensure competency.
The Staff Education department is an approver of nursing continuing education through the California Board of Nursing.
Patient Education
Patient education is individualized for the patient and family at National Jewish Health. Through individual instruction, group classes, and educational materials, patients and families are taught self-management techniques. Equipped with important knowledge and tools, patients are able to participate in the management of their disease, reducing unnecessary physician and emergency room visits.
