Oxygen study for COPD patients

Trial Objective:

The purpose of this study is to determine if supplemental oxygen therapy improves survival and quality of life in patients with COPD who have moderately low oxygen levels or whose oxygen levels drop with activity.

Participation involves breathing tests, oxygen testing, yearly clinic visits, interim phone visits, blood work and questionnaires.

Who Can Participate:

Qualified applicants must  be adults over 40 with COPD who are not using oxygen full-time and have Medicare or Medicare advantage plan.
