Do you have Rheumatoid Arthritis? Are you taking Methotrexate?

Trial Objective:

Rheumatoid arthritis, or RA is a disease of the immune system, which causes swelling and inflammation in various joints of the body. RA is a relatively common disease, occurring in about 1.3% of the world''s population. However, many people who suffer from RA cannot tolerate or do not see improvement with currently available treatments. National Jewish Health Health is conducting a research study to see if an experimental drug is safe and reduces symptoms of RA.

To be eligible you must:

  • Be18-75 years of age.
  • Have a diagnosis of RA.
  • Be on a stable dose of methotrexate for 3 months prior to study entry.

This research study involves 10 visits over 15 weeks. Qualified participants will receive study visits, study medication, ECG''s, physical exams and lab tests at no charge. In addition, qualified study participants will receive financial compensation for time and travel.
